The power/performance advantage illustrated in the example above enables a new range of applications in various markets that are either compute-intensive, power consumption constrained (e.g. battery-operated hand held devices); or both. Physical space constraints, i.e. smaller form factors, can also be enabled by utilizing the small Kilocore chips in lieu of several separate chips via the dynamic reconfiguring of functions that previously were handled by several discrete ICs.
